I have had the opportunity to stay at the house 3 times for scrapbooking girls weekends and will definitely be coming back. I love the fact that this is a brand new build. Built with the idea in mind to rent it, I love that all the little things that you might look for in a property, were already thought of. Keurig machines, a really nice outdoor "mud room", a wet bar in the basement, a durable lower level floor with TWO TVs, new appliances in the kitchen, and my favorite: the beautiful handcrafted table that actually seats the number of people that the house sleeps! (It really annoys me when you rent a house for 12 and the table seats 8.) The house is well appointed and I really love it there.

I had the pleasure of spending a scrapping week-end with 8 wonderful friends at the Scrap Nest and I am looking forward to returning. The scrap room had generous tables for us to lay out our projects and the lighting was great. The bedrooms are cozy and we could all do our own thing while still enjoying each other's company. Some of us liked to scrap late into the night and some of us were early risers. We were able to scrap as late as we wanted or get up as early as we wanted and not worry about disturbing others. We shared meals in the generous kitchen (the table is big enough for all of us to eat together - did not have to eat in shifts). We watched our chic movies part of the time while scrapping and just had a terrific time. This was a truly great week-end.

Gorgeous Home - So relaxing!
We had a stupendous time at Scrap Nest!!! The house is beautiful, has everything you need at your fingertips, well stocked kitchen (utinsils etc) and gorgeous views. We didn't get to take advantage of the relaxing porches as it rained all weekend but its definitely on the list for our next visit. The lighting was great for scrapbooking in the basement. There was a 6' table for 10 people and an individual Otte Light for each person.

The home was perfect for our girls quilting weekend. Very clean, updated and just what we needed. Views are spectacular. Will be booking again. The owners were very prompt with responses.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at the Srap Nest. It was very comfortable and had plenty of room (there were 10 of us). The location was great, very peace and beautiful. The scrap room was the perfect set up. We actually did more relaxing and less crafting - the decks were so inviting.

I spent the past weekend at this wonderful place and cannot find anything bad to say about it. The house and surroundings are beautiful. The scrapbooking area is amazing ... the beds are comfortable ... it has a well appointed kitchen for making your favorite recipes (when you take time out from scrap booking to eat) ... and there is more than adequate space for all ten of you to sit down to eat together. Loved it ... love it ... and can't wait to go back.

Fantastic retreat house. Perfect number of beds and bathrooms. Beautiful kitchen with everything you need, including a crockpot! WiFi ... a must. And the bed scrapbooking area with the most beautiful view. Thank you Scrap Nest .. we're coming back next year!

Beautiful home with a great scrapbook/crafting room. Great view of the slopes and 2 big screens. Very warm and inviting with beautiful bedrooms, multiple baths and a great kitchen and dining area. There is a conveyor belt to bring crafting supplies to the lower level where the room is located making it so easy to get supplies in and out. Enjoyed my stay(s) very much!

My girlfriends and I stayed at the Scrap Nest on 4/7 -4/10 2016. The house is beautiful, very clean, well stocked, and the view from the house is awesome. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for all 9 of us. We went to the Scrap Nest to scrapbook and the scrap room was set up perfectly. We did remove one table because it was set for 10 and that made it more spacious. But even with 10 table it would have been great. We watched movies and everyone could see because of the 2 TVs in the room. We had problems with the internet and the owner came right over to fix it for us. The owner, Todd, was wonderful, very friendly and wanted to help us with the problem immediately. We are renting the Scrap Nest again next year we loved it so much. Thank you to Todd and his wife for a lovely weekend.

A Scrappers 5 Star Retreat
The Scrap Nest is better than a 5 star hotel. The house is beautiful, amazing, and comfortable. The Parker's ( Todd & Michelle) were prompt in answering any questions about the rental. Mr. Lee Dearing ( Property Manager) was a phone call or text away with assistance. Our group of 8 ladies were overwhelmed with the scrap room : 6 foot table for each scrapper ( no sharing ), Ottlite for luminous crafting, craft mat, a wet bar, rolling chairs and a bathroom several feet away; oh, also (2) large screen TV's - what else would a scrapper need. If you were scrapped out, you could relax in the great room with the fireplace and TV or soak ( with bubbles ) in the loft bathtub or spend time on the deck watching the wildlife ( deer only no bears ). The conveyor was a blessing when carting in all our supplies. The only request would have been to be snowed in and stay a couple of extra days. We have plans to come back in 2016.

Wonderful home and great for scrapbookers
My group was very impressed with this house. We had a blast and enjoyed the amenities at the resort also. The waterpark is great and lots of things to do if you need a break from scrapbooking also. the house is very nicely furnished and the scrap room is great! Sleeping arrangements worked out well for all of us. We are definitely coming back next year! Nice restaurants in the area and the food store is only 5 miles from the house.

I can't say enough good things about the Scrap Nest. What a wonderful place to stay for a scrapbooking weekend with friends. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything you need other than food. We had the best time. The view was great and the scrap room was perfect. We all can't wait to go back again next year. Couldn't ask for a better place for a weekend scrapbooking get a way!

Excellent scrapbook house!
Loved not bringing tables and chairs! Conveyor belt was a blessing! Home has plenty of space to relax. Home also has a kitchen with tons of items you need for meal preps and storage for left overs.

Just wanted to let you know that I stayed at the Scrapnest this weekend and it was WONDERFUL. I have nothing bad to say about the house, it was well equipped with everything we needed, I was impressed by the amount of kitchen gadgets that were there. The beds were super comfortable. I was in the master bedroom and slept in the beautiful queen poster bed. The lighting was great for scrapbooking. I did get up early several mornings and enjoyed the beautiful deck. It was so calming and peaceful. (I hated to come back to the hectic D.C. traffic this morning!). As an added bonus, we were blessed with the most beautiful fireworks display on Saturday evening. It seemed like the fireworks were directly over the house and they were one of the best fireworks that I have seen in a long time and unlike July 4, there were no traffic jams coming home from them! I believe we have already booked this for next year, I cannot wait to come back again.
