The Crop Room located on the lower level is a large wood ceilinged room with 10 tables each 6 feet long by 3 feet wide. High quality office chairs with multiple adjustments are provided for every station along with large craft mats, trash cans and individual Ott lights. A 60 inch HDTV is on one wall and a 55 inch HDTV is in the opposite corner providing everyone a view of the TV.
Enter into the Great Room with its 20’ high wooden cathedral ceiling, exposed beams and hand-scraped hickory floor. The seating area has a large stone fireplace with a remote activated gas fireplace. Settle into one of the new leather couches and load a DVD into the BlueRay player to watch your favorite movie on the 46inch HDTV. We have over 220 channels on cable plus hi-speed Wi-Fi. Games, books and movies are also available.
The spacious kitchen features an open-beamed wood ceiling, rustic hickory cabinets and granite countertops with a tile backsplash. Well lit and fully equipped, the kitchen has ample cookware and utensils to support a large family. The all-new appliances include a smooth top range, side by side refrigerator, Keurig machine, crockpot, blender and other small appliances.
The custom built dining table seats up to 14 people. Everyone can dine together!
The cathedral ceilinged master suite is tucked away on the upper level. It contains a Queen sized four poster bed, a wrought iron twin day bed, ceiling fan, 40inch HDTV and BlueRay player. A seating area with a comfortable recliner overlooks the peaceful and private wooded backyard.

The Master Bedroom's en-suite bath has a claw foot Victorian tub, a separate shower, a granite double sink vanity and oil rubbed bronze fixtures.

The loft outside the Master Bedroom provides a perfect spot to relax in the comfortable recliner and read a favorite book from the well-stocked bookcase.

Lower Level Bedroom
One of the two bedrooms on the Lower Level. It is furnished with a Queen and Twin wrought iron bed and has its own private bath. This bedroom is also on the same level as the Crop Room.

Welcome to The Scrap Nest
The Scrap Nest is a peaceful crafting retreat located in Massanutten Resort in the Shenandoah Valley of VA, approximately a 2 1/2 hour drive from the Washington DC Beltway. Custom built in 2014, The Scrap Nest was designed and furnished to be an ideal retreat for all types of crafters. With over 3,000 sq. ft. of mountain style luxury, it features comfortable and spacious sleeping and crafting accommodations for up to 10 guests. Nestled among the trees, The Scrap Nest provides an amazing degree of privacy and includes paved driveway parking for 3-4 cars, a gravel parking lot for 2 cars at the top of the driveway as well as parking just off the road in front of the house.
A 3 level home, The Scrap Nest has 5 bedrooms to comfortably sleep 10, three full baths (one on each level), a 3/4 bath and a 1/2 bath, great room, dining area with full seating for all 10 guests and a fully equipped kitchen. High speed wireless internet throughout the house. The customized crop room is located on the lower level and features 10 6'x3' craft tables, each with a large craft mat, Ott light and trash can. A motorized conveyor belt is located at the bottom of the driveway to transport all your crafting supplies down to the crop room and back quickly and conveniently.
