Welcome to The Scrap Nest
The Scrap Nest is a peaceful crafting retreat located in Massanutten Resort in the Shenandoah Valley of VA, approximately a 2 1/2 hour drive from the Washington DC Beltway. Custom built in 2014, The Scrap Nest was designed and furnished to be an ideal retreat for all types of crafters. With over 3,000 sq. ft. of mountain style luxury, it features comfortable and spacious sleeping and crafting accommodations for up to 10 guests. Nestled among the trees, The Scrap Nest provides an amazing degree of privacy and includes paved driveway parking for 3-4 cars, a gravel parking lot for 2 cars at the top of the driveway as well as parking just off the road in front of the house.
A 3 level home, The Scrap Nest has 5 bedrooms to comfortably sleep 10, three full baths (one on each level), a 3/4 bath and a 1/2 bath, great room, dining area with full seating for all 10 guests and a fully equipped kitchen. High speed wireless internet throughout the house. The customized crop room is located on the lower level and features 10 6'x3' craft tables, each with a large craft mat, Ott light and trash can. A motorized conveyor belt is located at the bottom of the driveway to transport all your crafting supplies down to the crop room and back quickly and conveniently.
